Dear
AALNC Members,
It
is hard to believe a year has gone by already!
It seems just yesterday that I shared with you in Denver the plans for AALNC
for the 2014-2015 term-year. And now, it
is already time to transition to the 2015-2016 Board under the competent
leadership of Varsha Desai.
As
this year comes to a close, I want to thank you for the opportunity to lead you
this past year. I am humbled and honored
to have had your trust as well as the chance to work and interact with so many
of our wonderful members, volunteers, staff, and more.
In
Indianapolis this week, at AALNC’s 2015 Forum, I will share and celebrate with
you the many accomplishments that our association has achieved this past year. These achievements were possible only through
the tremendous efforts of our invaluable and amazing volunteers. They have given countless hours to our association, and through their collective efforts,
AALNC has continued as the premier association for legal nurse consultants.

volunteers include:

I
also want to thank AALNC staff (JLNC Editor Wendie Howland, Director of
Programs Shannon Holy, and our SmithBucklin management team) for their ongoing and
much appreciated contributions to AALNC.
And
of course, last but certainly not least, I wish to offer my heartfelt and deep
thanks to the AALNC Board of Directors:
Varsha Desai, Beth Zorn, Mary Sussex, Debbie Pritts, Kim Beladi, and
Susan Carleo. These women have never
ceased to astonish me with their tireless efforts, extensive experience and individual
perspectives, constructive honesty, thoughtful analysis and discussion,
openness to new ideas, and unwavering dedication. Their contributions to AALNC cannot be overstated. It was my true honor and fortune to work
alongside such amazing women and leaders.
Our association is indebted to these women for their invaluable service.
Thank
you, AALNC volunteers, for a tremendous year!
With
tremendous gratitude and appreciation,
Julie Dickinson
